Early 00's screamo with a dark tinge to it? I guess a lot of this stuff was pretty dark and moody in the early 00's (Rue Morgue, DoFH, ILM, Part II). Lots of instrumental parts and grooves that seque into complete shout fests. Pretty heavy too. Nothing screechy though. Give it a try, it's not mandatory, but seriously.. the gems are GEMS.
