Index For Potential Suicide - Sex Violence Whatever...

Well Index For Potential Suicide are a band that has successfully mixed in elements and noise to create a sound that's a lot more cliche nowadays than it was way back in the 1990's. Formed in 1998 by four dudes with a fascination for Noise and experimental music who go by the names: Christopher Ashley, Brian Cooper, Robert Findlater and Frank Whiteside; who, after the band disbanded, formed The Diseased and The Avenging Disco Godfathers of Soul. They are an honest example of experimentation in the hardcore scene and are akin to Usurp Synapse, Jeromes Dream, early Teen Cthulhu and Orchids more experimental sounding songs. As far as I know, "The Newest Youth Rebellion" LP is still available for purchase from the Berlin, Germany based label Insolito; and the Discography "Sex Violence Whatever" is more than likely still available on ALONE records. The record is a good listen if you feel like killing everything you know you can kill and if not that then to at least have a better understanding of the time period they represent. Other bands HAVE done it better, but none of them have done it like Index For Potential Suicide. Be ready to punch your girlfriend in the head.
